February Commissions: Watercolor Portraits
It’s finally the second month of the year and I will be offering my favorite: portrait commissions. For the month of love, I want to paint your loved ones for you.
Each one of these portraits will be painted in Payne’s Gray watercolor on an 8x10 piece of cold press watercolor paper.
These began when I first painted a picture of me holding my daughter. I wanted a simple way to take a picture that represented a significant season in our lives and make it an heirloom. I love taking away all the color and background clutter and making the focus of these portraits the people. My grandfather was a photographer and I have many of his black and white photographs of our family members. These painted portraits remind me of those.
If you are interested in a commission this month, please email me or message me on any of my social media pages and I will get started on your special portrait.
